O.k. I understand you can't win em all! I get it! But come on a shut out loss to the Islanders! WTF. Now you tell me what is it with the back to back games. Is it really that important for these guys to go out Downtown to Papaya after they win! Can't ruff put these guys to bed after the game. Seriously folks these professional athletes have to go party it up with all the underage kids down on Chippewa Street after every game. Now don;t get me wrong Buffalo was crazy Friday night. Every party spot was off the hook! It's great to see people out enjoying our fine city's night life! Unfortunately; the million dollar athletes will party away a few points along with them. Watch for the next back to back game. It has nothing to do with being tired from the game! If that's your excuses then I call shenanigans. It was just a poor display out on the ice hands down. You guys should be less worried about getting that Buff Stater back to your bed and more worried about keeping the fans in their seats. :!:

I hate Montreal, not the place the team! I hate the fact they claim cups not won by them! That's right they claim cups from a team long gone, The Maroons! By the way the Maroons happen to be the only true French Canadian team! The Have Not-s were created by the owners of the Senators! That is correct sir, the Senators team created another team so they cold break into the NHL! So a few of those Banners you Have Not-s wave in your rafters fake! So I hope we take it to them tonight. I Do not want to hear that stupid soccer chant they do! It is a soccer chant! Why, I ask why do you do this! Now I don't mind offending people when they deserve it so I hope my Gay and Lesbian fellow achievers forgive, Your chant is "SOOO GAY, SO GAY, SO GAY, SO GAY, So gay, So gay. Again sorry to those Achievers I hope you understand in your kind hearts this is not to offend you, but most certainly is intended to offend those damn Have Not-s. May the Dude bless you with a cool beverage,a 300 game, and a dry rug! 8-) Win or loose I will still be a Sabres fan in the morning. Lets Go Buff-A-Lo............... ;)

Well here it is, Ryan Miller has this one chance to become the best Buffalo Goalie of all TIME. Right now the man who holds that honor is Dominik "The Dominator" Hašek. Hašek has won six Vezina Trophies, and in 1998 he became the first goaltender to win consecutive Hart Trophies. He also has Olympic gold medal and lets not forget he took the Stanley Cup in 2002! Bring home the gold Ryan! Knock that drunk Czech ice hockey goaltender out of the top running. I forgot to mention all the times that "The Dominator" crashed his car driving beyond drunk. In true Buffalo; sorry that should really be Cheektowaga Police Fashion they let him get away with it. Well "Dominator", you will always have your place in the Hall of Fame; but, lets hope that Ryan can best you. Win the Gold then the Cup. Go USA, Go Buffalo! 8-)

We see now that Team USA did bring home a Silver Medal. Miller had an outstanding tournament! Not only did he bring team USA to the finals, he was also awarded MVP of the tournament. Not to shabby my friend. On returning to the NHL he was greeted in Pittsburgh by a standing ovation! Again, not to shabby my friend. They (Pittsburgh fans) also booed Sid the Kid! Best of all Sid was visibly upset by this booing. Please understand Sid that yes, you may be the team hero for Canada, but last time we checked Pittsburgh is still in the good old US of A! Funny in Buffalo we did not boo Ruff for beating out USA for the Gold. Guess being a dick to people, Sid, gets you what you deserve! Now to the rest of the Sabres, bring home some more Silver in the form of a big CUP!

This city lives and dies by the performance of its sports teams. I am not going to pull punches here at all! When the Buffalo Sabres took to the ice for the series opener this Town was electrified! You could actually feel the energy of the city pulsating. This town was alive. Excitement in the face of every citizen you passed on the street, a hometown crest on every chest, and team flags flown from every home with immense pride. No other town is as amplified by a team win like the Queen city. We live for those wins. We wear our teams like a bag of honor. We loudly proclaim our belief that this is the year we take it all. We say We Believe because we honestly and truly do. We love those victories. We cheer for the wins. We roar for the victorious Sabres. Then as it has so many times before, it all falls apart. The strings start to unravel. With ever loss the city turns on itself. The heroes become the dark villains. It as if the opposition reaches into the chest of the city and tears out the soul. You can see it on the face of every passer by. Gone is the energy. Gone is the pulse. The city of hockey has flat lined. But wait, what’s that off in the distance? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s another game. That’s right we may be down 3 games to 1, but we still have another game tonight and that means hope. It will happen, Buffalo will win! Until the final second has passed I believe this is our year! Lets Go Buffalo! 8-)

Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller has won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goaltender. He was joined by team mate Tyler Myers, who won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie. Pride Buffalo.
