What types of costumes should one wear. Last year I did notice the lack of diversity. Many a Dude in bath robes. I would like to send out a challenge to all Buffalo Lebowksi Achievers to dress as something other then the Dude. I myself have a costume that has not been seen at any Lebowski event yet! Brand NEW no pictures on the internet of this one! Totally original! ;) So mark it a challenge my fellow B.L.F. Achievers! See you all on Nov 14th, 2009. I will be the guy standing out from the crowd of Dude's!

2nd Annual Buffalo Lebowski Festival info-

Postby BLF_Walter » Mon Oct 05, 2009 2:53 pm

You got a date! The 2nd Annual Buffalo Lebowski Festival is going to be held Saturday November 14th! Doors open at 10:30pm at Voelker Lanes.
The address For Voelker Lanes is 686 Amherst St Buffalo, NY 14207.

I'm just gonna go find a cash machine! Tickets Cost $30- They have Tickets for sale at Voelker's cash only, or you can buy them here just click on the the link for tickets. It will take you to a Pay Pal site. You don't have to join Pay Pal to use the link. It was just an easy way for Buffalo Lebowski Achievers to pay by credit card.

Time:The doors open for lane assignment at 10:30 pm we plan to also have live music at this time.
Lane assignment: we will put 6 Achievers to a lane to maximize the space for the event. Please don't be offend by this, we found it was a great way for people to meet each other.

Shoe Rental: Shoe rental was included in the cost of tickets, if you have your own sorry tickets still cost the same.

You mix one hell of a Caucasian Jackie!
Beverages: Your tickets also includes free Beverages for 2.5 hours! You must be 21 years with a valid form of ID to drink!
The bar will serve drinks from 11pm-1:30am! You must be 21 years with a valid form of ID to drink. Anyone one under 21 years can have Soda!
YES THEY WILL HAVE COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF WHITE RUSSIANS!!!! They learned form last year!

I like your style, Dude!
Costume contest: Anything goes here nothing is over the line! Last year we had many Buffalo Lebowski Achievers dress as the Dude. Nothing is fucked here. However, we would strongly encourage you to be creative. We suggest you watch the movie again then pick a costume. For example, the best Walter costume last year, was a skinny guy in shirt and tie carrying a tire iron! How did he get a tire iron into the bar? Well would you stop a guy carrying a tire iron! Well would you? ;)

Please don't drink and drive! Please set up a designated driver for the night. Get a friend to drop you off and pick you up, or call a cab. We will have a cab company ready to pick you up and take you home. Please, Please, don't drink and drive! :!:

Here we are folks, on the eve of the 2nd Buffalo Lebowski Festival, :D taking in all the anticipation of a great event. I pulled out my costume and hung it up to air out! I called all my other B.L.F. Achievers to remind them about the event. I played the movie over and over again for a week straight now. I looked over my Lebowski Facts sheet. I hung my stocking by the chimney with care! Hoping and praying the Dude or maybe Walter would appear! I hear noises outside and took a look to see what was going on! It wa several Nihilist trying to cut off my dong! On Donnie, on Larry, on Smokey, on Bunny! I know what she will do for wee bit o money! The night before the Buffalo Lebowski Festival is so awesome and cool! Unlike Nixon who was a fucking tool! God Bless and good night all my fellow Achievers! Its off to bed with you now you Lebowski believers! 8-)
